Check out Sarah's Q&A with Partypm.com below.
(Partypm) Tell us a little about your background, and how you got into modeling.
(Sara) I was born in Toronto but haven't lived in Toronto my whole life, however It still feels like home to me. My mother was a model and my father was a photographer for music artists and models when they met. So I always knew about the industry. My father now works in the oil industry and my mother owns an advertising company. My mother put me on my first AD when I was 13. It was a billboard on the back of a bus for a spa. She then started using me in some of her magazines and bringing me to auditions. I did modeling here and there but the past year I have been more focused, putting in more effort. Now it’s something that I really want to do.

(Partypm) How do you spend your free time?
(Sara) I spend my free time at the gym working out. I also do yoga and take dance class. I like hanging out with friends and travelling. My favorite thing to do is shop.
(Partypm) Name some the big photographers you have worked with.
(Sara) Photographers I have worked with are Justin Price, a very well known photographer in United States and Canada. Paul Buceta who does a lot of magazine spreads and shoots for Playboy. Also Richard Sibbald Canada’s most recognized top fashion photographer, and Anthony Luke who shoots a lot of print ads and beauty photos.

(Partypm) Have you worked with any major labels or designers? Any major events or shows like fashion week? what was your favorite or the most memorable?
(Sara) I was at a club in Florida and met one of the swimsuit designers for ED Hardy and Christian Audigier. We then started talking about working together and myself modeling for the Christian Audigier and Ed Hardy line. That same week the designer introduced me to the Ed Hardy team and then he flew me to Toronto to be in the first Ed Hardy swimsuit fashion show in Canada. I stayed in a beautiful suite at the Windsor arms hotel in Yorkville. My sister and best friend came out to the show and it was really fun. After that I was introduced to the designer himself Mr. Christian
Audgier at the Mercedes Benz Fashion week in Miami. Christian Audgier did a press release before the fashion show with every major magazine and press. I was one of the two girls modeling the swimsuits beside him. That was pretty crazy to be in that moment with him. It was a lot of fun. A few weeks later the photos were in tabloids and on sites across the world and on fashion channels and star TV. I was even at my friends place in L.A. and my friends are French they had a copy of one of the magazines I was in. It is called Entrevue I was so happy to see my picture in a French magazine. I still have the copy I kept it.
Couture Fashion week in New York is another unforgettable moment. I modeled for Vocce couture and the dresses were so beautiful. It was my first time at New York Fashion Week and I still can’t believe I was a part of the show. I am only 5'7 so to be doing runway at my height is pretty unheard of so I felt very lucky to be there. The fashion show went really well and got a good response and a ton of press.
Most memorable event that I did was a fashion show in Miami. It was for a line called Goldfinger. Myself and another girl opened the show we were airbrushed from head to toe in gold body paint . The music stops the curtains open and we are standing back to back holding gold guns and we are wearing only gold paint. The music comes on and I walk down the runway and then she does after and the show begins. The dresses in the line were beautiful. After the show I was walking to my car still in the gold with clothes over top, it was so funny to see people’s reactions.

(Partypm) Are you working on anything right now? Is there anything we should be keeping an eye out for, shoots, calendars, anything like that?
(Sara) I have a big shoot coming up but I can't talk about that yet. I'm on fashion television right now for New York fashion week. I just played a model on a new HBO show called “Lingerie”, it will be out later this year. I’m filming a movie in the fall here in Toronto, I’m playing a runaway high school girl. I am also going to shoot with FHM magazine and may appear in UMM magazine again soon. Miss Bikini calendars and two hot flair models calendars are out now.
I have a new one in the works with photographer Eikona, the theme will be bedroom and lingerie and we still need to make a name for the calendar.
(Partypm) What can we expect from Sara Balint in the future?
(Sara) You can expect me to be working hard and keeping busy. I will be modeling and I want to get into television hosting and maybe some more acting.
Thank you to all of my friends, family and fans for showing your support!
photographers in the photos are EIKONA, Anthony Luke, and Jacqueline Megaw.
